Write It Out

Writing is a great tool to use for children to express themselves. When children struggle with their feelings, writing them down is a great way to get them out. The release of putting those thoughts on paper can feel cathartic on many levels. Writing can also be good practice in preparation for talking things out. The better children learn to communicate, the healthier they will be socially and emotionally. Communicating is one of the most crucial developmental skills when learning to take control of your mental health.
